In the first week of Term 2, a small group of students travelled to Auckland City to hear the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra play a range of pieces from Vivaldi to Bernstein! As the Eras of Music were introduced, the orchestra grew in size and complexity, finishing with a piece by a modern, young New Zealand composer (which was a crowd favourite). It was wonderful to enjoy the talents of Auckland's Orchestra in residence.
